MyGuru Genius Kids Program 2024

On 23 November 2024, Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah (SK Hisamuddin Alam Shah) became the center of innovation and creativity with the Program MyGuru Genius Kids, an initiative supported by MyGuru, CIMB Islamic Bank, and Learning Port. This event aimed to nurture young learners with essential 21st-century skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Roboshop Technologies Sdn Bhd had the incredible privilege of preparing and conducting robotics and coding activities for the young geniuses from 4 different schools.

Participating Schools

Students from four schools actively participated in the program, which fostered collaboration and healthy competition:

• SK Datok Keramat 2

Engaging and Educational Activities

The event featured four exciting zones, each tailored to inspire curiosity and hands-on learning:

Zone A: Wonder Circuit

Students explored the basics of electrical circuits, learning how components like resistors, switches, and batteries connect to power devices. This zone helped students understand the fundamental principles of electronics in a creative and interactive way.

Zone B: Game Code

In this coding zone, students were introduced to the basics of programming. Through simple coding exercises and games, they learned to think logically, solve problems, and develop basic algorithms, laying the groundwork for computer science skills.

Zone C: RoboSoccer

Students engaged in robot-controlled soccer matches, blending technology and teamwork. This activity taught them about robotics, mechanical movements, and strategy, fostering both technical skills and collaboration.

Zone D: Fly DIY Drone

A highlight of the event, this zone allowed students to build and pilot their own drones. They learned about drone mechanics, aerodynamics, and the real-world applications of drone technology, sparking their interest in engineering and aviation.

Our Hope for the Students

This program was not just an event but a platform to prepare students for future challenges in an ever-evolving technological world. By engaging in activities that combine fun and education, students are encouraged to:
